Chestnut Homes helps to bring festive cheer to Wyberton Primary Academy

Children at Wyberton Primary Academy have been enjoying a magical winter wonderland at school this Christmas, thanks to a donation from us of £262 towards Christmas decorations to light up the school grounds this December.

Chestnut Homes had originally planned to give the school a Christmas tree before Johnsons Garden Centre in Boston offered to donate one free of charge. The housebuilder instead funded 1,000 LED lights and a big star for the tree, along with some LED reindeers and a sleigh to create a small Wyberton winter wonderland.

Helene Key, Sales Manager for Chestnut Homes, said: “We are very pleased to see that our donation has provided a magical Christmas scene for the children at Wyberton school. “We always like to give back to the communities in which we build, and it is more important than ever this year to bring some festive spirit into the local community. The lights will be on all through the Christmas holidays for families to see as they pass by the school.”

Sarah Paul, Headteacher at Wyberton Primary Academy, said: “We are very grateful for the contribution from Chestnut Homes to our school family and Wyberton community. It has certainly helped to provide the children with a magical experience. “We would like to continue to build our relationships with local businesses such as Chestnut Homes and Johnsons Garden Centre and look forward to working together again in the future. We thank them both for their generosity and kindness.”
