Chestnut Homes Sponsors Easter Family Festival in Boston
At Chestnut Homes, supporting the communities in which we build is a key part of what we do — which is why we were delighted to sponsor the Easter Family Festival hosted by Boston Ladies Circle 525 earlier this month.
Held on Saturday 4 April at St Mary’s Church in Frampton, the Easter Family Festival brought together families, local businesses and community groups for a fun‑filled day of activities, all in aid of two fantastic local causes.
A fun day for all the family
The event offered something for everyone, with more than 30 food and craft stalls to explore, a popular raffle packed with great prizes, and plenty of activities to keep younger visitors entertained. Children enjoyed taking part in an Easter egg hunt, arts and crafts workshops and a range of hands‑on activities, making it a memorable day out for families across the area.
Boston Ladies Circle 525, part of a national organisation for women aged 18 to 45, works hard to bring people together while raising vital funds for local charities — something we’re proud to support.
Helping raise funds for local charities
To help make the Easter Family Festival possible, Chestnut Homes donated £200 towards the event and contributed a £50 hamper as a raffle prize. Thanks to the generosity of visitors and supporters on the day, an impressive £1,250 was raised for St Mary’s Church and Haven Domestic Abuse Service, which provides essential support to people in need across rural parts of South Lincolnshire.
Sophie Amber Horton, Chair of Boston Ladies Circle 525, said:
“Support like this allows us to maximise our fundraising efforts and, with our overheads covered, every penny raised on the day goes directly towards supporting our local community and chosen charities.”
