Chestnut Homes teams up with Uniform Properties
Chestnut Homes has joined forces with a new housebuying service to help military personnel get onto the property ladder in Lincolnshire. Chestnut Homes has teamed up with Uniform Properties, a business set up to guide current and former members of the armed forces through the homebuying process.
Established in 2018, Uniform Properties offers a free one-stop shop service which includes everything from finding their clients a new home, arranging viewings, securing mortgages and offering advice on schemes such as Forces Help to Buy.
Since the two businesses began working together at the end of May, Uniform Properties has already helped one person to purchase a new house at Chestnut Homes’ Bridgeways development in Alford.
The companies are now looking to expand their relationship further to offer support for buyers interested in other Chestnut Homes developments in Lincoln and Boston.
Helene Key, Sales Manager at Chestnut Homes, said: “Uniform Properties offers an unparalleled service to troops who are stationed across the world, helping to take the stress out of the home-buying process for forces personnel looking to get onto the property ladder. “As a company which builds exclusively in Lincolnshire, a county with strong connections to the armed forces, we are proud to be working with Uniform Properties to help servicemen and women find a home that is right for them.”
Uniform Properties was set up in 2018 by Michelle Gower and Tinika Sooley, both of whom have several years of experience in the housebuilding industry.
Michelle said: “At Uniform Properties, our goal is to be a one-stop shop. From that very first phone call, we help our clients through every step of purchasing a new home. We have financial advisors and solicitors who specify in helping members of the forces onto the property ladder, and we also liaise with developers to keep the process as smooth as possible for our clients. “Chestnut Homes have been extremely helpful and supportive. We do everything for our client, such as checking in with the site, and they have been great in keeping us up to date and well informed. It has been a really good experience so far, and we hope to receive more referrals for their sites going forward.”
Tinika said: “We have clients from Cyprus, Germany, Estonia, Belgium and more looking for a place to buy in the UK, and we do everything we can to help them as they are unable to visit developments while being based abroad. They do such a stressful job, so we try to take the stress out of looking for a new home. “It is great to be working alongside developers like Chestnut Homes so we can continue to help our clients find their new home at an affordable price."
