Construction Baron continues his local tour

One of the 25 Barons which lined the streets of Lincoln for the Baron’s Charter Trail last year has visited a primary school and a legal firm.

The Construction Baron visited Dunholme St Chad’s Primary School in Dunholme before the school holidays, before moving on to Chattertons Solicitors’ headquarters in Lincoln city centre.

It was loaned by us here at Chestnut Homes, who sponsored the Construction Baron as part of Lincoln’s Magna Carta celebrations and bought it at auction following the end of the Trail.

Since its departure from the Trail, the Construction Baron has taken up pride of place in the reception area at Chestnut Homes’ headquarters in Langworth, near Lincoln.

The visit to Dunholme St Chad’s and Chattertons marks the latest stops on the Construction Baron’s recent tour of the area – the figure was previously loaned to the Best Western Plus Hotel & Spa on Newark Road, South Hykeham.

David Newton, Managing Director of Chestnut Homes, said: “Our Baron has become a very popular part of our family, and we are pleased to share him with the wider community by lending him to local companies, schools and organisations.

“He had a good stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel & Spa, and was very well received at Dunholme  St Chad’s and Chattertons.

“We hope everyone enjoyed meeting him, and we look forward to seeing where he will go next.”

The Construction Baron’s vibrant design includes depictions of iconic Lincolnshire sites, including the cathedral.
