Craig and Alice find dream home at The Meadows

A couple from Market Rasen have made a fresh start by moving to a new Chestnut Homes development in Dunholme.

Craig Archer, 36, and Alice Baker, 31, have moved into a brand new four-bedroom detached house at The Meadows, along with Alice’s nine-year-old daughter Louise.

Having previously lived separately, the couple were looking for a place to call their own and were keen to relocate to the Dunholme area because of the quality of the local schools.

Craig, who works as a joiner said: “Dunholme is a beautiful village. We knew that we wanted to buy in the area because of the location. Living here I am 15 minutes closer to work and it’s about the same journey for Alice as it was from her old home. “With Louise moving up to secondary school soon location to good schools was something that we really considered when looking to move to the area.  “Chestnut Homes has a great reputation in the area, and they have been excellent every step of the way. We are really starting to feel at home here, despite the few boxes we have left to unpack.”

Alice, who works as a teaching assistant said: “It’s the perfect home for Louise. The garden is big enough for a trampoline and we’ve made one of the rooms into her playroom which is something we couldn’t have done in our old home.”

The Meadows is a development of 275 new two, three, four and five-bedroom homes located off Lincoln road in the village.
