Don’t miss the final cottage-style homes at The Grange
Only three homes remain at a development of attractive cottage-style properties in Scothern.
Chestnut Homes is building The Grange, its development of 30 cottage-style homes set around a village green, off Heath Road in the village, near Lincoln.
And after a flurry of sales, the company has released the final homes for sale – a four-bedroom detached house and a pair of two-bedroom semi-detached homes.
David Newton, Managing Director of Chestnut Homes, said: “The cottage-style exteriors of our new homes and their pleasant village location have proven a winning combination to our buyers at The Grange, who have been quick to secure their new homes.
“We’ve welcomed a large number of first-time buyers to the development, with many of them making use of the government’s Help to Buy scheme to support their purchase and help them get moving.
“Now just three homes remain – a pair of two-bedroom homes, which would be ideal for first-time buyers, and a four-bedroom property which offers plenty of space for all the family.
“So I’d urge buyers looking for the best in modern living in a lovely rural location to find out more without delay.”
With Help to Buy, purchasers can secure their new home with a five per cent deposit and a 75 per cent mortgage. The remaining 20 per cent is provided as an equity loan which is interest-free for the first five years.
The final two-bedroom homes at The Grange are both priced at £169,950, while the last four-bedroom home is priced at £364,950.
Using Help to Buy, one of the final two-bedroom homes can be secured with a five per cent deposit of £8,497.50 and a 75 per cent mortgage of £127,462.50.
The remaining 20 per cent – £33,990 – is provided as an equity loan from the government.
