Final home reserved at The Wharf 2
Buyers have snapped up all of the apartments at our award-winning waterside development in Morton, near Gainsborough.
The final apartment has just been reserved at The Wharf 2, a development of 15 apartments off Trentside.
The development was recognised at West Lindsey District Council’s Quality in Construction Awards in April, when it was named ‘Best New Housing Development’.
Construction work was completed at The Wharf 2 in March, and the development was praised by inspectors from the Considerate Constructors scheme, who scored it highly following a visit to the site earlier this year.
David Newton, Managing Director of Chestnut Homes, said: “The Wharf 2 proved to be a popular development right from our launch weekend, when more than half of the apartments were reserved by fast-acting buyers.
“Now, our final plot has been reserved and the rest of our residents have all moved and settled in to their dream homes by the River Trent.
“It’s been an absolute pleasure for us to transform this site on a glorious stretch of the river into this thriving new community, and we are delighted with the finished product.”
The Wharf 2 was built on a former bus depot site and is the second phase of The Wharf, which Chestnut Homes built in 2010.
Mr Newton said: “The Wharf was a successful development for us and we are pleased to have expanded on that by bringing this second collection of new homes to Morton.
“The Wharf 2 has become a natural extension to the existing community at The Wharf, and we hope all of the residents within both phase one and phase two are very happy in their homes for many years to come.”
