Holbeach United score with Chestnut Homes
Young footballers at Holbeach United FC will be stepping onto the pitch in style after linking up with Chestnut Homes.
The Lincolnshire housebuilder has supplied the club’s under-9s team with a brand-new home kit for the 2017/18 season.
The new strip was unveiled to the team at their first home game of the season on Saturday 16th September.
Holbeach United U9s, who are based on Penny Hill Road, play 7-a-side matches in the Peterborough Junior League.
Mathew Smith, Manager for Holbeach United U8s, said: “We’re delighted that Chestnut Homes has sponsored our playing kit for this season. This is a very kind contribution which will help our season run smoothly and ensure our players look the part when representing the club.
“This year the team has progressed from 5-aside to 7-aside and encompassed more members, so we needed new kits for the larger group of players.
“We have 11 registered players – all of whom were very excited to get their hands on the new kit, which looks great.
“Kitting out an entire squad is no easy task, so we’re very grateful to Chestnut Homes for supplying us with a new strip.”
David Newton, Managing Director of Chestnut Homes, said: “As a company we’re committed to be supporting community clubs and encouraging young kids to get out and be active.
“It’s a great pleasure to be sponsoring Holbeach United U9s and we wish them the very best for the upcoming season.”
Chestnut Homes is building new homes at developments across Lincolnshire.
