Name Our Machine Competition
Here at Chestnut Homes we have just purchased 9 new telehandler machines for use on our current and future housing developments across Lincolnshire. We are currently building in Skegness, Lincoln, Boston, Bardney and Coningsby.
What we'd love for you to do is get involved and help to name each machine!
All you need to do is head over to our Facebook page and add your suggestion in the comment box on our competition post. You'll need to be quick as entries close on Wednesday 19th July.
Suggestions so far range from Malcolm and Bob to Forky and big giraffe! If you think you can come up with something better enter now!
The lucky winner will not only see their name added onto the machine, but will win a cinema voucher.
We've also asked a number of local schools to help out and name a machine - the schools will receive a visit from our machine and the lucky pupil will win a cinema voucher!
- A telescopic handler is also known as a telehandler, teleporter, or boom lift. In America it is known as a cherry picker.
- It is a machine widely used in agriculture and the construction industry to move heavy items fromplace to place.
- It is like a forklift but has a boom, making it more a crane than a forklift
- On the end of the boom the operator can fit one of several attachments, such as a bucket, pallet forks, muck grab, or winch.
Don't forget to keep an eye out on our social media pages over the next 9 weeks for our 'Selfie' competition in association with The Lincoln Knights' Trail.
