New homes for sale at The Quadrant as demand soars
We are pleased to announce that there has been a release of more new homes for sale at our flagship development in Boston to meet rising demand in the market.
Building work resumed at The Quadrant in May and construction has advanced far enough for more three and four-bedroom homes to be released for sale.
Two of the homes were reserved immediately and the others have been drawing the attention of home-hunters buoyed by the Chancellor’s announcement of a stamp duty holiday.
David Newton, Managing Director of Chestnut Homes, said: “The Quadrant is a landmark new development for Boston which is making a wide range of high-quality housing available. “The Government’s Help to Buy scheme has enabled many of our customers to reserve with just a five per cent deposit. The scheme is available to people who are moving home in addition to first-time buyers until the end of March 2021. “Following the announcement of the stamp duty holiday, people have been rushing to make sure they don’t miss out on the opportunity to save thousands of pounds.”
The Chancellor announced in his Summer Statement that stamp duty would not be charged to owner-occupiers on homes up to £500,000 until the end of March. With Help to Buy, you can secure a new home with a five per cent deposit and a 75 per cent mortgage. The remaining 20 per cent is provided as a Government-backed equity loan with no interest payable for the first five years.
In addition to the 500 new homes that are being built at the site, a Costa, Burger King and Greggs opened their doors to the public last year. When completed, the development will also host shops, a petrol station and a hotel.Back To News
