Simon drives away as Chestnut Homes’ competition winner

The lucky winner has been drawn in a competition run by county developer Chestnut Homes to win a brand new car.

Visitors to the show apartment at Chestnut Homes’ Riverside development in Boston were given the chance to enter the free prize draw to win a new Kia Rio.

And Simon Hopper’s name was picked out of the hat when the draw was made, live on Boston’s Endeavour FM.

Mr Hopper, 48, from Boston, said: “I walk my dog by the Riverside development most days with my wife, Natalie, and I thought I’d pop in and have a look at the show apartment.

“I entered the competition more in hope than expectation and definitely didn’t expect to win, so I could barely believe it.

“The win has come at a very convenient time, as I was actually looking for a new car – and as luck would have it I was rather interested in a Kia.

“This is the first brand new car I have ever owned, and I’m very excited to get it on the road.”

David Newton, Managing Director of Chestnut Homes, said: “Cars and property are two of life’s biggest purchases, which is why we ran a competition for home-hunters to win one while looking for the other.
