The Housing Market is Open

Following the announcement by the Rt Hon Robert Jenrick, the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, that the housing market will re-start, Managing Director David Newton commented: -

“I hope everyone is safe and well. We are delighted that the housing market has been given the go ahead, and we can now move forward safely, and complete the new homes that our purchasers have so patiently waited for over the past few months.

Construction has re-commenced on some of our developments this week, with strict Covid-19 procedures in place, and the balance of sites will open over the next two weeks on a controlled and phased basis.

We have continued to sell new homes throughout the lockdown period with staff working from home, but it will be great to have our marketing suites and showhomes open in the near future, although initially it will be on a strict appointment only basis.  In line with the new guidance issued by the Government, we are developing our Covid-19 policies to ensure that when our show homes do  open, staff and visitors will be safe.

We will also be helping to guide any prospective purchaser to ensure that they meet Government guidance when selling their existing homes.

Finally, I would like to thank the NHS and key workers who continue to look after us.”
