The Quadrant opens its doors to the public

The new development which will bring 500 homes and a new football stadium to Boston is set to open its doors to the public this weekend.

The Quadrant, which is being built by Chestnut Homes on land between Tytton Lane East and the A16, opens to the public this weekend the Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th February.

It will be the first opportunity for visitors to explore the development’s new show village of four properties.

Once completed, The Quadrant will comprise 500 homes, commercial premises and a new stadium for Boston United Football Club.

The first two phases will consist of 147 homes, 62 of which will be provided as affordable housing.

David Newton, Managing Director of Chestnut Homes, said: “The Quadrant is a high-profile development which people have known about for some time, so it is a real milestone for us to be able to open the doors and invite people in for the very first time.

“We’re proud to be creating this new community for Boston, and we look forward to welcoming the first visitors this weekend.”

Phases one and two at The Quadrant will include an area of green open space with a toddler play area, as well as ecological enhancements, such as swales and drainage basins, and bird and bat boxes.

Construction of a new roundabout on the A16 which will serve both the new homes and the stadium has already finished, and work is now underway on the main distributor road through the development, which will provide access from both the A16 and the B1397 London Road.
