Purpose of the Scheme

The NHS & Forces Key Worker Incentive Scheme is designed to recognise and thank eligible key workers for the vital role they play in supporting communities. Chestnut Homes is offering qualifying purchasers the opportunity to save money on a brand‑new, energy‑efficient Chestnut Home, supporting affordability both now and in the long term.

 

What Is on Offer?

Eligible purchasers will receive a £5,000 Homebuyers Voucher to use towards the purchase of a new Chestnut Home. The allowance can be used in one or more of the following ways:

  • Contribution to deposit
  • Contribution to Stamp Duty
  • Contribution to mortgage payments
  • Contribution towards flooring
  • Upgrades and personalisation of your new home
  • Moving expenses

The incentive must be agreed prior to reservation and will be applied as a financial allowance at legal completion. It cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be applied retrospectively.

Minimum qualifying property price: £180,000.

 

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the scheme:

  • You must be a UK resident aged 18+.
  • You must be employed by the NHS or employed by the UK Armed Forces.
  • You must be able to provide valid proof of employment (e.g., payslip, staff ID, or employer letter).

Chestnut Homes reserves the right to verify eligibility and to request reasonable supporting documentation.

 

Availability and Restrictions

The offer is available on selected developments and selected plots only, and is subject to status and availability.

The incentive cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, promotion, or incentive and is not compatible with the First Homes Scheme.

The scheme applies only to new-build Chestnut Homes properties.

Only one incentive can be applied per property purchase.

Purchasers using third‑party buying schemes (such as Part‑Exchange or Assisted Move) may not be eligible, depending on scheme rules.

The incentive must be agreed in writing before reservation and confirmed within reservation paperwork.

 

Verification and Fair Use

Chestnut Homes may conduct employment verification checks at reservation and again prior to exchange. Any misuse of the scheme or misrepresentation of eligibility may result in withdrawal of the incentive before exchange of contracts.

 

Consumer Protection and Independent Advice

Chestnut Homes operates in accordance with UK Consumer Protection legislation.
Purchasers are strongly advised to seek independent financial, legal and mortgage advice before proceeding with any property purchase or relying on any sales incentive.

Chestnut Homes is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and does not provide regulated financial advice. Any reference to financial savings or mortgage assistance relates solely to the Homebuyers Voucher allowance.

Data Protection

Chestnut Homes adheres fully to the Consumer Code for Home Builders (CCoHB).
This includes a commitment to:

  • Delivering a high standard of customer service
  • Giving customers access to the CCoHB Independent Dispute Resolution Scheme if needed

All incentives, including this scheme, are offered in line with the Code’s principles and requirements.

 

Right to Withdraw or Amend

Chestnut Homes reserves the right to withdraw, suspend or amend this offer at any time.

Any changes will not affect purchasers with an existing reservation where the incentive has already been formally agreed in writing.
