Chestnut Homes awarded ‘Best New Housing Development’

We’re delighted to announce that Chestnut Homes has won the award for ‘Best New Housing Development’ for The Wharf 2 in Morton, Lincolnshire, at the West Lindsey District Council’s, Quality in Construction Awards 2016.

Chestnut Homes were shortlisted for the award alongside other local housing developers including Taylor Lindsey, Cherry Tree Homes and Ryland Design Services.

The event was organised by West Lindsey District Council’s Building Control team to celebrate the standards of local projects.

More than 200 professionals in the building and construction industry attended the event, which was held at The White Heather, Caenby Corner on Friday, 15 April.

Chairman of the West Lindsey District Council, Cllr Angela Lawrence said: “I have been very impressed by the quality and standards of projects outlined, which must have made it difficult to judge. It’s really inspiring to see some of the work that has been carried around the district. I would like to congratulate all the finalists and the winners."

David Newton, Managing Director of Chestnut Homes, said: “We’re honoured to have been chosen to receive this award. It really is a tribute to the hard-working staff that we employ here and allows us to down tools and celebrate that.”
