Lincolnshire Housebuilder helps spread festive cheer with Boston care home Christmas tree donation

Lincolnshire housebuilder, Chestnut Homes, has helped residents and service users at a Boston care home get into the festive spirit by donating a Christmas tree and a selection of seasonal decorations.

Staff from Chestnut Homes’ development, The Quadrant in Wyberton helped to decorate the seven-foot tree and deck the halls at Avocet House Care Home which is located a stone’s throw away from the development.

Specialising in residential, dementia, palliative, respite, and day care services, Avocet House Care Home is home to 66 residents and supports an additional three service users. It features beautiful purpose-built environments designed with residents in mind. The home has 60 members of staff who dedicate hours of hard work to support service users and make the home a welcoming and caring environment.

Olivia Stephenson, marketing manager at Chestnut Homes, said: “As a family business, we’re really passionate about supporting the local community in all the areas we build in, but this was a particularly special partnership for us. Avocet House is located within the heart of The Quadrant, and the work staff do each and every day there, is truly inspiring.

“We really enjoyed getting the chance to meet some of the lovely residents at Avocet and we certainly had a lot of fun helping them get into the spirit of the season. It was fantastic to be able to help spread a little festive cheer in the run-up to Christmas.”

Chestnut Homes’ development, The Quadrant, is located in the village of Wyberton. It has just launched its sixth phase and is home to a stunning collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes.

Tracey Klue, home manager at Avocet House Care Home, said: “We’d like to thank Chestnut Homes for donating a beautifully decorated tree and giving up their time to come and visit us.

“Christmas can be a challenging but extremely rewarding time for us and support from the community and local businesses like Chestnut Homes, is what makes Lincolnshire such a lovely place. All our staff work really hard to provide quality care to all our residents and service users, and it was brilliant to be able to add a little Christmas magic to the festive season with Chestnut’s help."

The Quadrant has a collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes starting from £174,950.

Alongside The Quadrant & Heron Park in Wyberton, Chestnut Homes also has a range of other developments across Lincolnshire including Chantrey Park in Market Rasen, Kings Manor in Coningsby, The Meadows in Dunholme and Millers Walk in Sibsey.
