LN6 Award Celebration Event

To celebrate the winning of the “Residential Project of the Year Award” for LN6 at The Lincolnshire Property and Construction Awards earlier this year, we got everyone together who had worked on the development to thank them. From scaffolders to landscapers, to tilers and finishers everyone was there!

The winner of this award had to show that they had improved the environment and provided a sustainable community. We believe that we created a new landmark development on the edge of Lincoln City Centre. This brought into use an area of wasteland at a time when new building completions were at a three year low locally. Not forgetting the housing market was also emerging from recession. It was conceived as a contemporary style development to reflect its prominent edge of city centre location. LN6 achieved an attractive and inviting development through careful design. We have created a desirable place to live and over 85% of the first phase has now been sold. Winning this award is a reflection of all the hard work and dedication of all of our committed team, contractors, suppliers and partners.

The development was Yakup Kacar's first development as site manager since obtaining his qualifications. He is one of Chestnut Homes success stories, after starting his journey with us over 13 years ago, when he began his career as a site labourer.
